The President of Somaliland, H.E. Muse Bihi Abdi, along with the Minister of Defense, Hon. Roble Muse Abdi; the Deputy Minister of Public Works, Hon. Abdimajid Ibrahim Mu’min; and Hon. Ahmed Dahir Jirde, the Governor of Hawd Region, held a meeting today with leaders, intellectuals, academics, businessmen, and youth from Awdal and Salal Regions. Among those present were Chief Ali Omar Boon, Chief Ili Mohamed Warfaa, Chief Geelle Waays, Chief Hassan Abdullahi, and Elder Adan Abdullahi Bodh.

During the meeting, they stressed the importance of working closely together to bolster shared interests and protect the Somaliland nation while steering clear of any harmful actions. They underscored the value of unity, mutual support, and proactive strategies to ensure the nation’s security, stability, and prosperity.

The traditional leaders and intellectuals of Awdal and Salal regions expressed to the president their longstanding support for the KULMIYE party. They fully endorse the party’s candidates for president and vice president, reaffirming their commitment to the party’s vision and leadership. Additionally, they pledged to mobilize their communities to ensure robust support in the upcoming elections, highlighting their dedication to the party’s success.
